Dr. Gayathri Devi Nadarajan

Clinical Assistant Professor

Dr. Gayathri is an Emergency Medicine Consultant at the Singapore General Hospital and a pre-hospital doctor within the Unit for Pre-hospital Emergency Care (UPEC). She is interested in emergency care systems development in LMICs, psychological well-being amongst emergency healthcare workers and the role of global health education in the professional development of medical students and junior doctors.

She is the Global Resuscitation Alliance representative within the Asian Association for EMS and is currently working to develop an evaluation tool for pre-hospital systems in low and middle income countries. She is also pursuing her Masters of Public Health as a global health fellow at the Singhealth Duke-NUS Global Health Institute.

She is actively involved in overseas humanitarian projects and strongly believes that research and education are important pillars for humanitarian work to be effective and sustainable. Annually, she brings doctors, allied healthcare workers and medical students to the mountainous regions of Nepal as part of the university’s overseas community involvement Project.
