The Resuscitation Academy Foundation of Seattle, Washington, American Heart Association (AHA), and the Laerdal Foundation have joined forces to support the Global Resuscitation Alliance, a group leading efforts to improve cardiac arrest survival by 50 percent worldwide. AHA lends its recognized expertise as a world leader in resuscitation guidelines, Laerdal brings strength in medical simulation and educational product design and the RAF has expertise in the practical implementation of programs within emergency medical services (EMS) systems.
